Kathryn Moore

Kathryn Moore is a violinist from Yakima, Washington. She is a Junior at Western Washington University working towards her Bachelor of Music Performance. She began studying violin at the age of 4 in New York City at the French American Conservatory of Music and debuted as a violinist at Carnegie Hall at age 6. After moving to Yakima, she studied under Heather Netz and Denise Dillenbeck and currently is a student of Grant Donnellan at WWU.

Kathryn has studied violin for 16 years and has played in many orchestra and chamber music groups. She was an avid competitor in the Washington Solo and Ensemble regional and state competitions as well as participated in multiple Washington All-State Symphony Orchestras. Currently, she performs as a part of the Western Washington University Symphony Orchestra and Western String Orchestra. Kathryn has been teaching privately for 5 years and has experience with all skill levels.

Kathryn offers both 30 minute and 60 minute lesson sessions at Allegro Strings and can be reached via email for any further questions!
